In 2017 we decided to change our busy lifestyles for a self-development adventure that would mark us forever: we took a sabbatical to travel the Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Argentina overlanding in our expedition truck, Brutus. The adventure was more rewarding than we expected. We learned to embrace life living simply, being present, appreciating what before we would have taken for granted. We have developed lifetime friendships, experienced a diversity of cultures, witnessed true wildlife encounters and untouched nature. But the best of it, we have reconnected as a couple and conceived our son, Luca, on the way. On this blog we explain how it all happened, giving you insights and tips about planning and preparation.
